Hiring a web design company in the US market means planning for rules that many small sites ignore until a demand letter arrives. The Department of Justice says the ADA applies to the goods and services that a business open to the public offers online. It has no detailed technical rule for private businesses, so it points to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as helpful guidance and leaves the method to you.
